The 5 C’s of ADHD with Dr. Sharon Saline

Bob Dietrich & Dr. Sharon Saline at https://brainworxinc.com/

Bob talks with Dr. Sharon Saline about her book and experience in this video. She explains the 5 Cs of ADHD: self-control, Compassion, Collaboration, Consistency, and Celebration.

I highly recommend Dr. Sharon Saline's book What Your ADHD Child Wishes You Knew. As a mother, I believe Dr Sharon Saline's 5Cs of ADHD approach is an excellent tool for most mothers raising a neurodiverse child; it certainly helped me in my journey and still does. My son is 2E and does not have ADHA; all 5 Cs work wonders, but they work more as he ages, especially regarding self-control and collaboration.

Remember, each child and family dynamics are unique. In medicine, psychology, and motherhood, no "one size fits all"; in other words, no tool/strategy will fit all children and family dynamics. Therefore, the 5Cs work amazingly and will work well for some children and family dynamics rather than for others. I am here to spread effective services, knowledge, and tools for mothers to learn about and consider adding to their toolbox in the journey of raising a neurodiverse child.
